With educational pedagogy continually changing and more recently with an increased interest in flipped and blended classrooms there seems to be a natural vacancy for a reimagined textbook. Further, with an increase of 7% spending on computer hardware in 2015 versus 2014, more students are accessing digital devices in the classroom (Molnar, 2016). A digital textbook, or e-text, is an electronic resources intended to be used for educational purposes.
